Neggsweeper is my favorite game on Neopets. I remember when I first tried to play Minesweeper and getting really mad because I didn't understand it and I could never even win the easiest level. So hopefully, I can give you a good explaination of how to play if you're at the beginning stages.

First off, let's take a look at the starting grid on the easiest level:

Now I will break it down for you. Here is one example of what it will look like on the left side if you click in the upper left corner:

Here, the negg you clicked on was covering a blank square, so it cleared all of the surrounding blank squares and revealed all of the numbers on the edge. Now take a look at the 1 2 3 2 going down:

Since the 1 is in the corner, the negg to the southeast of it is covering a bad negg. And since the 3 is right next to 3 neggs on the right and no others anywhere else, each of those neggs is covering a bad negg. That is why the 2 at the top is placed there. So, basically, you have to look at the numbers together to figure out where all of the bad neggs are.

Going back up to the larger picture, you can see that the first three neggs on the corner are bad because of the 3. The 2 that follows it tells you that the negg in the southeast corner of it is safe because you have already found the two bad neggs that it is touching. The next 2 tells you that the negg in its southeast corner is bad since you have only found one of the two bad neggs. The 1 at the bottom tells you that one of the two neggs that it is touching is bad. This lets you know that one of those two neggs is one of the bad neggs touching the 2 next to the 1. The other one you already found using the 2 above this one, so you know that the negg in the southeast corner of the lowest 2 is safe. Looking at the 1 at the top of the column of three bad neggs you know that the bad negg that it is touching is the one below it, so all three of the neggs to the right of it are safe.

Beyond the explaination, some of the neggs you click on will be hiding a super secret negg which can add anywhere from 50-800 points to your jackpot. You just have to be lucky to get these.
