1. Why do the little birds ( other creatures) disappear when cubs become
adults?
The 'familiar' guides only appear with cubs to help them in their new homes.
When the cubs grow up the guides return to the forest to later guide others.
If you really, really want to keep your little guide with your adult
sh'koura, I'm sure you can persuade them to stick around... if you bribe
them enough.
2. What items do I /need/ to breed my sh'koura?
None. There are no required items to breed. All breeding items available let
you choose an outcome that is less random.
3. How many times can a sh'koura breed during a season?
Females can breed 2 times in a single season. Males are now limited to 3
breeds per season.
4. Why has my cub not grown up?
Cubs take about 2-3 weeks to go.. depending on various things. You also need
to be sure that have directly linked to the URL I have provided for you. If
you are sure that your cub /has/ grown AND that you have directly linked -
try refreshing the page OR emptying your cache file. This means hitting that
'Clear History' button under General in your Internet Options.
Alternatively, you can Right-click the page with your mouse and choose
'Refresh' from there. ^_^
5. Why can't I see the updated picture of my sh'koura?
Same as Question 4 - you need to be sure that you are seeing the 'newest'
image of your adoptable. The best way to do this is to clear out all your
temporary internet files so your computer will show you the latest updates
each time you surf the web.
6. How do I keep my Guide, or adopt a new one for my sh'koura?
You will need to lure a guide to your sh'koura by offering treats and/or
a bribe. You can find items for purchase on the 'Guides' page.
7. Can I keep/display older images of my sh'koura (like its newborn/cub
form) after its become an adult?
Yes. You will need to save and upload it to your own server, but you may
show off all forms of your sh'koura. You may also alter the images for
use in banners or avatars, so long as you do not change the adoptable itself
or claim the image as your own.... naturally. =)
8. What is a vonix?
A vonix is a special kind of sh'koura that is basically dual-gendered.
Meaning it can breed with both male and females. A vonix is limited to the
female breeding pattern, so it can only have 2 breeds per season. They can
NOT pass down their 'vonix' status, so their children will either be male or
female.
9. Do accessories pass down during breeding?
No. Offspring do not inherit accessories, whether custom or basic.
Accesssories can be added to offspring during Alterations week.
